Small
lots allow Camas to create excellent varietal wines
including: Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Lemberger,
Merlot, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, & Semillon.
Specialty fruit wines include: Elderberry & Plum.
My friend Stu Scott was the winemaker for the award
winning Huckleberry Mead & Honey Mead-now produced
under the Camas label. Our 'TEJ' Hopped Mead, (the
national drink of Ethiopia) requires no added sulfites
since the hops act as a preservative. Sarah's Blush
is named after his and Sue’s daughter. Their
wine vinegars have Andy, the winery dog, on the label.
Idaho’s Camas Champagnes ( you know it as sparkling
wine in the USA), including Raspberry Brut, are hand
riddled & disgorged--a true methode champenoise.
Hog Heaven Red & Hot Spiced Wine are Stu’s
special creation.
