wear my Duckhorn shirt and hat to football games and get friendly
smiles from wine lovers. Duckhorn is the best---no doubt about
it.
You
rarely can buy this wine in a retail store. It is very limited.
Many think they make the best Merlot in the world. Their "Three
Palm" vineyard is a collector's item. The grapes now from
this vineyard are sold to Sterling. The difference between the
two winemakers is why Duckhorn
is so sought after. Their Napa Estate is outstanding.
My favorite is the Howell Mountain. They make a great Cabernet
Sauvignon. Even the Vermouth is outstanding. This is the Margaux
of the United States.
I am on their mailing list, but the best advise is to visit the
winery and buy directly before they sell out there, too.
